Need to find pre ignition cups for a 1.6td head?!?!?!?!?!

I am new the VW diesels... not vw's. I am getting my head rebuilt this week and I was asked to supply a few parts. All I can get, but I dont know what a pre injection cup is. The rebuild shop told me mine were crazy cracked.

Can anyone please tell me what it is and/or show me a photo.

Its a cup that forms the bottom half of where the fuel injector sprays. Im not sure of 1.6 precups are available.

they're available, but i dont know off hand where to buy... i remember seeing a post of a company offering them for many different diesel applications.

Thanks! I messaged him.

Got a call from the machine shop today.... they could not find anything. Found me a 650$ reconditioned head...BOO!

Need these quick, or else I need an aaz head...anyone

My "machine chop"  put in a used one.  I'm still looking for a source for new ones also.  

There was some discussion of someone producing them, but I dont remember it going anywhere.   Here is the link

Someone posted a link of a website that listed them but it was a company in Germany, website in German.  I found that link also but its inop.  Itzdshtz posted the link in the above thread.

Here is a link to a 1.9 pre-cup that seems to be available... Maybe the head could be adapted.

I also read somewhere that pre-cups were available for 6.5 chevy heads.  Maybe they could be adapted.

Alright guys..... they are about 10$ canadian each. Not sure if that is a good price but I dont care... I want to rebuild my damn motor.

So if anyone is interested in buying some get at me before Monday night. I will buy about 20 of them no matter what as this will come up again I am sure.

Would be great if I was able to have everyone get in on this!

uh, I ran it through a currancy calculator and thats 7-8 bucks apeice in US dollars.  

Whats the shipping from poland to canada gonna add to my price?  Is it hard to get stuff from canada to us?

Oh by the way, my engine is MF code which is listed on the page.
