Well, no matter how much power they make, they are still one of the ugliest cars ever made and getting uglier every revision.  Tongue

I can kinda do that on ice Grin, with the occasional slide into the ditch haha.....So what ice is better for the tires anyways Tongue. I was slidin' down a snowy road with my subaru justy (71hp can't even spin all fours when sliding) one night a few years ago and was havin' lots a fun 'till I hit a moose haha, it was a yearling so it didn't hurt much Cheesy

'82 Rabbit LS Diesel, I installed a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result........it sounded good.

Then, I took the turbo off and made a toilet bowled 2.5" DP, the result........it is very loud.

Check out the latest version of that car:

KEN BLOCK'S TRAX STI CAR

 Shocked Shocked

I have a DD Subaru as well, a '91 Legacy Turbo, the great-grandfather of the WRX... it's been the best car I've ever owned. It currently has a hybrid of a JDM Legacy RS-RA (factory hand-built, the original STI) and a new 2.5L STI shortblock. This car is scary fast, gets 27-30 on the highway, and is unstoppable in the snow. Smiley

my old RZ would eat that subby for breakfast and use its conrods to clean its teeth. LOL a 1987 RZ500 with a race mill and tranny hidden under street plastic. I chickened out at 270k on the track.

Not in mid January  Grin   If you ever drive one of those Subaru's through a corner and the tires start to lose grip, just give it more throttle.  Incredible the way they will grip and pull you back where you want to go.
